The Hill Farms Project

Hill Farms is roughly 21 acres of land located just south of University Avenue and north of Rennebohm Park. The site includes the two-building State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) Headquarters located at 4802 Sheboygan Avenue, a large surface parking lot, and a small area dedicated to a Community Garden. Hill Farms is owned by the State of Wisconsin.

A project is currently underway by the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) to create more flexibility at Hill Farms that would allow for improvements and better utilization of the site. Developments would include constructing a new on-site State DOT Headquarters, creating additional employment opportunities, neighborhood enhancements, and residential diversity.
